Auburn Township is governed by a three-member Board of Trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1st. Two are elected in the year after the presidential election and one is elected in the year before it. There is also an elected township Fiscal Officer, who serves a four year term.

The Fiscal Officer is also the townships' Record Retention Officer and is responsible for all record requests. The Zoning Inspector is in the office every Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All buildings and structures, new businesses, building additions, improvements and change of uses require a Zoning Permit. If you have a question as to whether your project requires a Zoning Permit, please contact the Zoning Office at 440-543-1660.
