03/15/2018 City of Akron planning a selective cut on 42-acre property at LaDue in Auburn Township
Some Auburn residents came to the Board of Trustees meeting on 2/5/2018 to express their concerns about the City of Akron's plan to log on their property at LaDue in Auburn Township.
The Trustees understood their concerns, but explained logging/ timbering is deemed agricultural by State of Ohio which then makes it exempt from local government.

LaDue Watershed Protection has rented Adam Hall for a public informational meeting on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
The "LaDue Watershed Protection" is a small group of private citizens acting on the behalf of residents in the county and surrounding areas to try and stop the City of Akron.
