Township Resources | Recycling

Geauga Trumbull Solid Waste Management District provides many recycling drop-off sites that are easily accessible to Auburn Township residents.  They also host 1-day collection events at the Geauga County Engineer's yard in Chardon.  The facility in Warren is open seasonally and accepts  household hazardous waste materials.  Visit www.startrecycling.com for more information and the schedule of collection events.

Curbside recycling may be offered through your trash collection company.

Christmas Trees are accepted and recycled as mulch at the township garage during the month of January every year.  Residents are asked to drop their trees off at a designated area at the road garage, 17666 Auburn Road.  Call or email the administration office if you have any questions.

Tires are accepted and recycled at Auburn Township's Large Item Drop-Off Day (first Saturday in June) from 8:00pm to 1:00pm.  Restrictions may apply so call or email the administration office for details.
