Daniel J. Matsko, Fiscal Officer

Daniel J. Matsko has served Auburn Township for the past 44 years; 4 years as the Fiscal Officer Assistant now as Fiscal Officer and 40 years as a member of the Auburn Volunteer Fire Department while serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for 20 years.

Dan and his wife Sue moved to Auburn Township in 1982. They have two children, Stephen and Sarah, that graduated from Kenston High School and are currently raising their families here in Bainbridge and Auburn Townships. Dan and Sue are kept busy watching their 6 grandchildren participate in the many activities while attending Kenston Schools.

Dan received a BS in Industrial Administration from General Motors Institute, currently Kettering University.  He spent 35 years in the Automotive Industry in various manufacturing and quality managerial roles throughout his career.

Mr. Matsko’s current term expires March 31, 2028.

Because the Fiscal Office does not have regular set hours, Dan is available to meet with you by appointment or answer questions via email.
